About
Hi, I'm Angela B. Franklin, thanks again for visiting my website.
I am a survivor of a very traumatic past. I am an adult survivor of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, and an adult child of an alcoholic parent, and breast cancer survivor.
Today, despite dealing with many years of shame and silence, I triumphantly share my process of recovery, how I've rebuilt my self-confidence through art, and my love for God, when and whenever the opportunity arises.
I currently work at the McDonough Peer Support Wellness and Respite Center as a Certified Peer Support Specialist, where I support others who are in recovery from mental health challenges and/or addictive diseases.
Arts and crafts are a very important part of my wellness and recovery. I enjoy sharing my talents with others. My ultimate goal is to open an art studio one day.
